For Corporate Conspiracy, we went with the story that the god of commerce, Mercury, had a monopoly on the pear industry, running as the CEO of Pears inc. The player, a conspiracy theorist who is certain that Mercury is the CEO, bursts into the Pears inc. building, and begins to rush to the top to confront Mercury, all the while office workers and an ever persuing security guard try to stop him. Somewhere on one of the floors, the player can find Mercury's shoe, which will serve as evidence of his identity. However, if the player does not find the show and reaches the top anyway, the player will have no evidence and will be dragged away by security.
I owe a lot to my teammate for this project, as he handled everything involving code, so I could focus on the design of the game, and the layout of the office floors. The final product is quite rough and could be more detailed, but I still think the game has a certain charm to it.
